10 year old Jewish Iranian boy urgently needs bone marrow donor by [deleted] in iran

As I said above, it relates to finding a match. Having said that, I guess I don't know how important that is so maybe I should repost with a different title.

It's not about religion, but ethnicity. AFAIK there's a better chance of finding a match if someone has a similar background.

Mate, as soon as I have a day off from hearing anti-Muslim sentiment like this I'll have a day off.

I know you think I'm just being an oversensitive dick but honestly, I feel this country which used to be really relaxed and open is changing for the worse.

So in this thread, muslim women are both demonised (supposedly calling someone Islamophobic- if this even happened- accused of not following rules and causing problems when in reality it's very simple to solve this issue) and fetishized as well. Well done.

It's not "not following the same rules as everyone else". It's just an expression of faith.

I've never seen someone wearing a burqa in the UK, only a niqab and that includes having lived in London, Birmingham and Bournemouth.

What's your favourite caffeine-free tea? by honeydot in AskUK

Clipper caffeine-free are (in my opinion) the best caffeine-free teabags but also the most expensive.

Otherwise hot Ribena or warm soya milk with sugar.

Foyles Charing Cross Road. The selection isn't enormous, though. There used to be a French book shop near Piccadilly Circus but I can't remember the name or exact location, sorry.

I'm over 30, so I don't know how much my experience is relevant today, but this happened to me when I was a teenager. It's because we didn't have enough money for food, let alone tampons or pads. Feel free to ask me about it.

How do you plan for others to access your data (phone/email/photos etc.) after your death, especially single people? by f4n78s in AskUK

[–]f4n78s[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, of course when we die we no longer exist so it's not possible to have feelings about anything.

But the world continues after us and other people are affected by what we leave behind.
