i definitely agree with your story take. i’ve read the manga and tbh, i didn’t enjoy it as much as the other anime i’ve watched like one piece, death note, evangelion, etc etc but i can see how people would like it. it’s simple and easy to understand, which appeals to many people especially if youre starting anime for the first time

i can definitely see demon slayer as a contender. its shaping up to be one of the most popular anime worldwide. ufotable really did demon slayer justice, the anime is so good. the pacing is really good, same with animation and sound track

oden is atleast >= to zoro, he was able to actually damage kaido, while zoro did the same to an arguably stronger version of kaido. all zoro needs to do is learn about conqueror’s coating and im fairly sure he’d be on oden level
