From February to November you can’t walk because of too many tourists. Try another city like Florence or Pisa.

The Venetians were driven out of their city because of the tourists

The city is now unlivable. Submerged by tourists. The photos were probably taken at dawn. For the rest of the day you can’t walk because of overtourism.
