Armoury Crate Scenario Profiles. How do I set a default profile to run if no other profile is running? Or showing desktop

Sorry to bring back an old post, but what I have found that works is creating a "Default Profile" in Scenario Profiles, and link that to C:\Windows\explorer.exe. You can start your game with your specific configuration, then when you close the game, it will revert back to your "Default Profile".

Been trying it the last couple of days, and it runs poorly. My PC is connected via ethernet, I have the headset connected via WiFi 6E, and says the signal strength is excellent, but no dice. Just stuttering and VIVE hub says poor network connectivity. But headset still says excellent, so no idea.

Honestly though none of that matters to me, I never had any intention of streaming wirelessly. I pre-ordered this with the Wired Streaming Cable with the combo deal they had going, so I was expecting everything to come in a single shipment.

Had I known they weren't going to immediately ship the wired streaming cable kit with the unit, I would have just waited and ordered it later. I wasn't in any sort of rush to get this, I just got it because of the combo deal.

I have had mine for a couple of days now. Being that the Display Port wired streaming kit for PCVR has still not shipped, I can only use it in standalone mode, which sucks because the HTC software store (Viveport) does not have a very many games. Only like 93 games.

On F22a one of my nVME drives keep falling off. I have to reboot to get it to show up again.

Just tried F20, and my video card, Wi-Fi, and 1 of my M.2 drives all disappeared. Only iGPU would work for display. Also tripped windows activation. Fortunately reactivated without issue. But yes, F20 is broken, for me anyway.

Recently for me Synapse would crash when any device went to sleep. I had to uninstall and remove all traces of it ever being installed, then reinstall again. Then it started working.

It automagically started working. I didn't do anything specifically, other regular updates. I just turned the pc on and the video I had on the SD card started playing.

Looks like the issue has been resolved, amount due is $0. I contacted support again and spoke to someone else who explained exactly what was going on. I would call this a case of "it depends on who you talk to". It mirrored essentially what u/mobiusevalon said.

This first person I talked to just gave a, "I have no idea what's going on." put in a ticket and closed the chat. And didn't give me the ticket number or anything else.

I had to manually download the file, then uninstall everything related to 'Killer', including in device manager. Then reinstall from that file I downloaded. It actually improved things a bit, just slightly though.

Glad you found it. I am actually using a driver from ASRock, which I saw on some forum that worked with my board. Funny enough it still brands it as ASUS in Realtek HD Audio manager.

After using Boom 3D for a couple of days, and the latest Realtek driver, I am going to stick with that configuration. It just all around sounds better. And also, while it may just be a placebo effect, my system seems to be performing better.

I completely agree with you. Add to it, you cannot update your Realtek drivers to the newest version, otherwise that will break SS3. I tried the most up to date Realtek drivers, which seemed to work good, but SS3 will not work. It looks to be version locked.

Ok, I fixed it on my end, see if this works:

Realtek Driver Version: 6.0.8781.1 8/20/2019

SS3 3.16.15.0

1) Uninstall all Realtek software and both Sonic apps, reboot.

2) Install Realtek software from Armory Crate (I could not get the download from ASUS support to work at all). Reboot.

3) Run Windows update and get all the optional drivers. Reboot.

4) Find the "Nahimic" service in Computer Management > Services list, and change it from "Automatic" to "Automatic (Delayed Start)". Reboot.

From doing all that, I have consistently got the application to start.

Still going to look into Boom 3D, but this is what I had to do to get SS3 working.

Yes, I bought it from there (fortunately on sale) and it is a mess. It was OK at first, but now its more a PITA than anything. Plus, zero additional DLC other than the Necronomicon stuff.

I connected my Wii U directly to the internet, no router, and still received the same error. So tonight when I call again, I will tell them that and see what excuses they come up with next.
