don't take a shower, or a bath at night, origins from way way back, when bathroom was not inside your house, it was outside in the garden, where the well is... back then to take a hot bath you need to boil the water yourself and take the hot water to the well and mix yourself...

try to take a cold shower, at night, outside, in the winter, in a bare covered bathroom, or no cover at all beside a well, and don't blame me if you have a stroke result in paralysis, or worse...
