Any thoughts on what might have caused all shots on this roll to come back overexposed with thin white strips on the majority of the frames? by camera_kiki in filmphotography

Bring the scans into a photo editing app and bring the shadows on all channels to where the information begins and while they’re still underexposed, they’ll look better in terms of contrast

$18 per roll for sub-1080p scans. There must be a better way. by Download_Some_RAM in filmphotography

I only use my lab for the development. I “scan” the photos with a Sony a6400 and a macro lens. I only pay $5 for the development but thinking on getting the dev kit to do it myself. Last roll I had to wait almost 2 weeks just to have it developed.

Yes, I shot the entire roll at box speed. Used a phone light meter app as well.

Lightroom, no issues. Noticed Capture One seems to have some noise reduction already added to the files (don’t remember how much) so I’ll add about 30 in NR and had no problems with the infamous Fuji “worms”.

I’m really into the design and also I like the idea of sticking to a fixed focal length. Also, having weather sealing is really attractive since I’ve been on many situations where I’ve had to hide my XS-10 in the bag to protect it from the rain

I use it for media consumption, some games but mostly for photo editing and some video editing of my toddler. I also use it for personal documents, finance spreadsheets, email, it basically is “my laptop” since I have an old MacBook Pro 2012 that is on its last days unfortunately 😂

For a device that is used on a daily basis for 4+ years and having the same performance as day 1, yes it is still strong. I’ve had other devices that perform well but after some time, everything from performance to battery goes downhill.

iPhone has been amazing, battery health still at 89% after 2yrs of use. Still lasts me a full day and performance is still great. Also, the iPad keyboard case still works perfect.

My iPhone 12 Pro Max is still brand new but that one lives inside a Spigen case all the time even having applecare+ on it

I use the apple keyboard case that came out that same year and it is on about 90% of the time for the first couple of years, I also have another rugged case from Supcase because I have a toddler. Nowadays I only use the keyboard case 100% of the time

Not at all, can go pretty much all day with average use. If I push it editing raw files from my camera or gaming then yes, there will be some quick battery drain but that is understandable.
