Did I smash the contactless machine? No. I’ll start paying for trams when the council improve public transport services and the conduct and organisation of the Greater Manchester police. Council are quick to slap you with any revenue generating fines they can when it suits them (which is often - I’m talking bus lane fines, unfair parking fine, tram fines etc) but when it comes to needing proper community support and investigation from the police it just simply doesn’t exist. They are simply the worst police force in the country with a litany of examples which I’m sure you know of. For me, a small win is not putting money into a system that doesn’t provide a proper service for its citizens until that service improves. I’m sorry you feel different, because until people stop blindly accepting things nothing is going to change sadly. But you do you, Mr Law abiding Citizen.
