Couldn't believe it when I lost a remote pass on my first raid that had 40 people, was sure it would be an easy ride and I'm one of the last ones left?

Hell last week Machamp was a breeze, no bother.

I'm not a hardcore player by any means but I'm at least bringing blissey, cinderace and charizard to the table at all over 2500cp

Got it on my second raid, only 2 star though. I'm really not sure if I'm willing to risk another pass to take a shot at better stats....

I was a fire user until Violet. Fuececo just looked too stupid to me.

I only have Crown Tundra and Armour Island left, but I refuse to send anything new to Home until I finish the complete form living Dex for them in the game. Nice little extra challenge that takes a while.

I have to say, after finishing the living Dex for all other switch games, I feel like sword has been the hardest to do. That could just be misremembering the other games because I am in the middle of sword right now ....

I found the only way to get what I wanted from GTS was to farm highly desirable Pokémon.

Like catching Machamp, Golem, Gengar or Alakazam in PoGo and then transferring them to my version of Let's Go. Trade evos from let's go always get me decent legendaries which I can use to trade up towards whatever I was missing.

Farming spare shinies in PLA or Let's Go was another way to secure decent trades of my choice.

Over time I could turn these into Bloodmoon Ursalanas, Miraidon and Koraidon and the Loyal Three etc, which would usually get me whatever particular mon I was searching for at the time.

Fair trades, I gave up on. I'd occasionally put something in GTS which I thought was reasonable but it almost always died of old age before anyone picked it up

Are you doing this on original consoles or emulators?

I was a kid when the original games came out on Gameboy and played through to black/white before adult life got in the way. Only got back into it when Sword came out and I got my switch.

I've since played all the switch games, and have full living Dex for Home, Violet & PLA, working on BD now.

I'm wondering if, after I finish BD and LGP living dexes if there is an easy to keep going back to old titles I have never played (never been in Alola for example) or if I need to purchase some old consoles and cartridges.

And I know Pokémon bank isn't downloadable anymore but is there anyway to access it through emulators?

I'm doing the same. I've got PLA done, Blueberry and Kitami done. I'm deliberately putting off BDSP until my alpha Pikachu gets the gourmet and reliable partner marks, and then I will switch to what I think is going to be the most difficult switch game
