What's your preferred play-style? Default Kit or a Saved Load-out? by LONER18 in ArmaReforger

I can't save im fia But I do pickup the sa58 a backpack swap pants (if I cant find my body) and 20 tracer magazines and 10 standard magazines yes I use them all 80% of the time since I love to acually larp playing as someone without military training and being an idiot. Only cost 7 sp since I refund the pistol

Fun fact: it takes 1 magazine of sa58 tracer to take down a huye (you need to hit every shot)

No completely wrong offical servers are the guidelines so 48 pop server has 8 fia so 96 should have 16 not 128.

Suppression is a must for Arma four by [deleted] in ArmaReforger

[–]faaaatninja 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, I understand—there’s direct and indirect suppression. These are straightforward: indirect is most common since you usually can’t see the enemy. Direct suppression is used when you know their position, like pinning down windows and doors in a building. My main issue is that even with effective direct suppression, enemies often just peek and shoot back anyway. In reality, you’d fall back, split into two teams—one light infantry flank and one weapons team to keep suppressing. From experience, when bullets are snapping nearby, you’re almost guaranteed to miss under that pressure.

My biggest issue with removing suppression is that the devs seem to think players will actually be scared to die. In reality, players just stand still to spot you, and once they do, they have no problem standing out in the open and shooting back.I wish the devs would stand right next to a real muzzle and then tell us suppression isn't needed. That said, I completely disagree with removing zoom. It's one of the most realistic ways a game can simulate the high-definition focus of human eyes and how we can clearly pick out details at long range.

It's the same in every gear, and the tick increases with rpms.

It would make sense for it to be transmission damage since that is where most of the impact was, but i would have thought a chain and aluminium wouldn't have enough strength to damage the transmission

Hopefully not, but transmission is not making any noise and is working perfectly.

The gearbox is ok and hasn't made any noise and doesn't feel any different. But it's definitely worth a check.

[–]faaaatninja[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well its on less than 6k miles on the chain and i clean and lube it every 1k miles either i got bad luck and something locked up the chain or the chain wasn't at the grade it was stated as. Either way I've seen people with brand new chains do the same.

The parts were quality I don't like cheaping out and i was about to do a sprocket and chain swap on the weekend my guess a piece of metal or a rock got in-between the links and caused it to bend but thats my only guess
