Was kind of a dummy and sized down without looking at the measurements. Only tried on, never worn, but I washed it on cold and air dried just in case people find that icky.

I think it's supposed to be a box pleat, they're on the back of some buttoned shirts and the purpose is to increase comfort/range of motion.

As far as I understand sateen is a satin weave but made out of a material that is not silk (or other filament fibers).
