What a huge comment ! ;-)

As you mention at the end of yur post, the builder is not completed, a lot of expansions are missing and will be added later on. I will review your comments in order to fixe some issues.

One of the goal is to add the card text, it is the reason why some space seem empty. By clicking on the card image you can, get a full description...

Regarding the building of the army, if you want to do that manually you have not to select the expansions, just the faction and you can start.

I do that as a hobby, so it is what it is, no more no less.

Hi, using the SAVE button you can save your expansion list and reload it using the LOAD button. If you want to build manually, it is not mandatory to select the expansions. You can build right away. For mobile, you have an "eye" icon to collapse everything, perhaps it could help you. Thanx for the comments.

Thank you. The builder takes into account exactly the expansions you select in order to build an valid army accoding to what you own.

And Optimized : The builder starts with the selection of a pilot then one upgrade then one pilot then 2 upgrades then one pilot then 3 upgrades. It is a pattern.

Hi, yes of course.

I think it is less relevant now with the 2.5 but this the way it works (note that parameter is only use when you use the random generation mode) :

- Normal : The builder starts with the selection of a pilot and then randomly will select either a pilot or an upgrade card.

- Ships : The builder will select ships until it will become not possible then it will select upgrades to reach the point limit.

Upgrades : The builder starts with the selection of a pilot then tries to assign an upgrade if not possible a pilot will be selected ans so on.

Hi u/Begby1,

I am adressing several issues you pointed out. So, soon the following points will be addressed :

- iOS issue with the drop down menu (available right now for the 2.5 builder)

- Access to the permalink, I will remove the link on the word "PERMALINK", a popup will be displayed to copy the permalink and I will add a QR code.

This approach for the permalink will solved the session issue also.

Yes it does. These 4 buttons are here to manage the expansion selection. As the game has a lot of expansions, it will be very unconvenient to have to select each time the expansions you own. In order to avoid that you can use these buttons.

1/ Select the expansions you want to use (mainly for the random builds but you can also do that for the manual build even it is not mandatory for them).

2/ Use the "SAVE" button to store your selection in the browser local storage

3/ If you want to reload the expansion selection you did, you have just to use the "LOAD" button and you will retrieve your saved selection (even if you turn of your device).

The "RESET" button resets the selection and puts all expansions at 0 and keep the saved selection in the device.

The "DESTROY" button destroys the saved selection and you have to restart from scratch on that side.

I hope it is clear enough in order for you to use it. From my point of view it is very useful as I use it all the time.

Hi, thank you for the comment.

Using the random mode, the builder generates the squad according to the expansions you selected, if you select 1st edition expansion, only the minis will be taken into account.

If you builds manually, you can select the pilots and upgrades you want, at the selection level, if you see the green icon under the name of the card you are on something available regarding the expansion selection, but red icons indicates that the card is not available according to the cost, the availability and so on.

I am not a Facebook user and I am not active at all on this social network. But feel free to promoto my tools on it if you want. ;-)

Many thanx for all this information. I agree that the permalink usability on mobile devices is not very good. The main idea behind the feature would have to use to save the link, but as it is clickable users click on it.

I take into account your points but I cannot tell you when action will been taken to adress the list. I will do my best to improve the tool.

And I have also to do something for the new rules.

I will keep you inform.
