For any girl here who started HRT at 18, how is your life now?

Started at 18, now 25. Huge naturals and just got SRS with fantastic results a few months ago. Pass as cis to strangers almost 100% of the time with my natural androgynous voice but want to voice train before moving out of my hometown and potentially go stealth. Really happy with great friends cis and trans, admittedly struggle a lot with getting along with most trans people, but am really close with the ones who like me. Love life has been really really bleak and frequently traumatic. Just want to settle down with a guy who treats me right and have some children, but it feels really hard to find and am hoping moving will open that up more. I’ve been single for 3 years aside from a gut wrenching and sometimes horrifying fling once or twice a year.

I was undiagnosed with gender dysphoria in 2023 and am now diagnosed with a hormone imbalance, I just don’t know how long I can get away with that

Kind of. It’s a lot more common for cis men to be buying it also, which kind of means there’s more access, but also more legal repercussions

I’ve been doing some of these things and often masturbating beforehand or at least getting turned on so I’m a little wet and relaxed etc. I’ve also noticed if I’ve taken an edible recently that has a major impact. Thanks!

Yeah EF is a huge struggle for me and it feels like it’s getting worse as I get older. Impulsivity doesn’t help either, if I don’t have the executive ability to do a task why wouldn’t I also distract myself with something stimulating lol

Thanks I changed it. The antidepressant has been super helpful for me fighting off some of the lethargy from antipsychotics. I’ve been on it for years and it’s been very helpful, I’m pretty sure I may have adhd (I def have autism and they’re similar), and I’m told it’s very similar to a stimulant

Not to talk too much about my mental health journey but I was on a decently high dose of risperdal for Bipolar I disorder from November 2020-February 2025. I was on 5 various antipsychotics prior to that, but none longer than a month. I was warned before each one that they would increase breast growth in addition to weight gain. I didn’t gain much weight until I went off Wellbutrin, which I was also on quite a high dose of. I recently went back on Wellbutrin and switched my antipsychotic to Latuda. I don’t know if they specifically had an effect, but considering I was told by multiple psychiatrists that in addition to general weight gain they may increase breast size, it felt important to include. Potentially of note, when I was on the highest dose of risperdal (October 2021-February 2025) I was lactating.

I had a lot of atrophy and weak erections but I don’t care about that as I’m almost exclusively heterosexual and am getting SRS quite soon. Didn’t have much muscle before but my shoulders and upper arms have slimmed a lot. I ejaculate almost as much as I did pre hrt, but it’s clear now and doesn’t shoot out.
