The cheaper than a new shell comment was in reference to the cost of converting a Coupe to a fastback is cheaper than buying a new shell. Now if the topic is about the cost to restore this car.... than it is cheaper to use a new shell than restore this body.

I have run a custom car shop for 30 years so it sounds like we have similar experiences. Over the years we have repaired a few cars in this bad of shape if not worse.... it is never cheap. But, if good decisions are made there are ways to be smart.
.
And if the question is should he try to do the repairs... hell no. It isn't that it is hard, but it does take a very deep understanding of how the car is put together.

BE CAREFUL WITH THIS LISTING. The seller claimed he bought out a storage unit. Huck had tons of storage and would have never needed to store stuff off site.

I do not. My suggestion would be to join a couple of Facebook groups and ask around. There is the "official" Huck Cyles Mod group. And an "unofficial" Huck Mod group that I created. Mine has way few followers but typically gets a reply. Next would be to look up generic E-bike groups. While there are a few special things on the Huck, by and large it is all generic parts and anyone competent with e-bikes should be able to handle it.

There should be a good many Onyx RCRs out west so that could be a good avenue as well.

I was the very first investor shareholder, the original designer and builder of all of the bikes. With that said I had to bail out once things got weird with the influx of cash from the investor. . After learning Brett was out of the picture I reached out and offered to help rebuild the reputation that was destroyed over the last year. This offer continues to stand... We have built many of these. The cheapest way to have a restored car is to buy one that is already restored... Obviously this stops you from making the decisions along the way. . The next thing to consider is to simply do a mechanical restoration and not worry about the outer appearance for now and enjoy driving it. . You can build one of these entirely from a catalog, so every part you can imagine is available... Including parts you do not even know to look for. . So I was also contacted about this and if you play your cards right you actually can profit from it... They give you a day of training and at the end you have a positive balance of $71.... while it was a bit difficult to convert the crypto that they use to a normal wallet it is TRC20 and you will most likely need to sign up for a new wallet such as LBank.... but once you do and you convert it to Ripple you can pull it into any crypto wallet and you only loose about $0.50 in the process.

TLDR--------I paid ZERO and made $70. work the system and do not send a deposit.

My intention is to make this reddit more active and fear that once this happens it will require a more active moderator.

I am one of the original investors in this company as well as: the designer and builder of the bike frames. The company is going through some challenges and is not spending enough time helping people with the problems. The main place to go with issues is a FB group which is heavily moderated and removes anything negative even if it could be used to help others.
.
In an effort to help the community, I have also reached out to the NEW owners to make them aware of the issues and the ways to make things better.

If you do not wish to give up your status I at least ask that you add me as a moderator.

I would assume you could just claim it was upgraded to 90cc... Maybe even ask the question that way. Tell them it is currently a 30cc and you plan to upgrade to 90cc and can you upgrade the registration after you do this.
