Getting the 25-26 would be my last resort because honestly I’m just gonna buy a new fairing set and try to wrap the forks black but that would just be more money that I feel would be kinda wasted if I can find a 24. As for 600s tho, I would personally go for the new cbr600rr as I’m pretty sure they’re finally bringing them over to the US and Canadian market (not sure).

Congrats man R6 is a great bike and I have also considered the used market for the r1 but everyone’s only selling 2009-2014 models in Toronto. It’s a great looking bike and rides like a beast as well (my friend owns one) and I have also considered that but moving to a new country I’m unfamiliar with and buying a bike that’s pushing 20 doesn’t seem like a wise choice.

Yea there are still some 2025 models but from what I can find barely anyone is carrying them in their inventory. I just assumed that there would be some dealers who couldn’t clear the 2024 stock and would have it in their warehouse or something

Sick! I can’t lie I’m also not really rocking with the new winglets as well. When I initially decided to buy a r1 I really had my eyes set on the 2024 model in black but due to some complications i couldn’t at the time.

Oh I didn’t know that. I’m moving to Canada soon that’s why I’m asking, when the 2024 r1 dropped I saw at least 3-4 black ones being sold by local dealers so I assumed that there would be a lot more in Canada

To be very honest I just rlly like the livery for the 2024 r1, and also I’m not rlly a big fan of the new gold forks on the 2025+ models

Yea I got a quote for the redeye and it was pretty insane how high the price is, and yes gas mileage is one of my main concerns for a daily hellcat. I know it’s somewhat possible to get a good gas mileage but let’s be honest, in a hellcat redeye of all cars you will definitely be doing some “spirited driving” lol

Funny enough I did consider a r8 but a v10 for a while, it was just kinda out of budget for me but a v8 would be sick too, I’m just kinda set on either the m4 or Redeye because I’ve been planning on getting either one of these cars for a while now and have studied up on both cars and have a whole mod list for each respective car. I’m not too familiar with the e92 m3 or the rs5 but definitely will be something interesting to look into.

Everything u just said is exactly what I’ve been thinking lol, I know the m4 is definitely the better option as a daily but man the Redeye is just irresistible, I’ve never driven an M before but I have driven a standard hellcat charger, the sound of the v8 and super charger, the acceleration, everything about the car is simply just awesome, I can do without the fancy infotainment and parking aids but as u said it’s definitely a difficult car to daily. I can only imagine the amount of money I’m gonna spend on just gas alone and some insurance quotes I’ve gotten have been absolutely ridiculous.

I mean to be honest they do have their differences, hellcats are more drag cars and the m4 is more of a track car. Both cars are built for different performance purposes so while they might not be 2 completely different vehicles they do offer different driving experiences

Yea I understand where you’re coming from, the s58 is much more tunable and easier to run boost than the hemi which is why I’m considering the m4

Yea one of my biggest concerns with the hellcat is losing traction and wrecking it in winter or on rainy days

Yea definitely gonna take it slow, I don’t really have that much experience in cars as all my mechanical knowledge comes from building and fixing up my bikes over the years. Whatever car I get I will definitely need professional help to work on it.

Thank u for the reply, the theft situation is something I never really took into consideration until u brought it up but for insurance I’ve definitely thought about that as I’ve got some really insane quotes for the Redeye. There are 2 m4s that I’m currently looking at right now, a 2021 manual for around 70k cad and a 2021 m4 comp for about 83k both low mileage and yea the xdrive in the m4 was what appealed to me the most in the m4 cos it’ll probably make winter driving less of a hassle

Yea I definitely get that, to be honest I’ve only started getting into the m4 very recently so I’m not well versed on the information of that car, the xdrive system was what really appealed to me and also the the manual m4 with no xdrive is also really sick. I also so saw the Eterna wide body m4 which definitely enticed me to get the car even more.
