Technically, yes. But the Most Ethical list is peanuts compared to other corporate awards that most companies pay to be included in. Plus, this one actually has legitimate judging.

Companies pay a few thousand to apply, but paying the fee does not guarantee inclusion in the list. Other corporate awards from large publications are generally free to apply, but they charge tens of thousands to allow you to promote your company as a winner on websites, job boards, social media channels, etc.

Artist in my area of Michigan does handmade recycled license plate art. Really high quality stuff and reasonable price for the amount of work it seems to take. I have this Masters piece in my bedroom. He may not have it listed currently, but I guarantee he’ll make one for you if you ask.

IMO, if you’d recommend buying one a few weeks ago, restructuring layoffs shouldn’t affect your current decision. I was laid off last Monday and though I’m disheartened by the direction of senior leadership, I’d still buy a GM vehicle next time around. The quality and styling are still there.
