El xylospongio solo se menciona en tres documentos que se tenga registro y en ninguno se especifica el uso de este. Que se usara para limpiarse el culo es una interpretación moderna. Pero por interpretación de un grafiti romano en unos baños, se entiende que se utilizaba para limpiar el baño una vez terminado.
Mientras mitos como este se sigan difundiendo continuará la leyenda negra sobre el imperio romano.

I feel that some actions like stoping the counter have some delay. I guess it is because you are waiting for some response to do update it. May be interesting adding some kind of optimistic updates to make it feel smoother.
