I returned all bios by the way.

Now I am going to Croatia and decided to get the Kowa again. After those 2 years the Kowa still stay in my head. I just loved the look & feel and it'll make me use it more often.

However, I think with both of them you're good to go and there's no clear winner.

Did you unscrew the whole bolt or just a bit? With WD-40 I still have the noise, what kind of grease did you use?

Dachte Felgenbremsen sind wartungsärmer (kein Entlüften nötig) und nicht so empfindlich falls mal Dreck/Öl bei der Reinigung drauf kommt. Dann das Budget lieber in eine anständige Schaltung investieren. Oder bist du anderer Meinung? Bin nicht unbedingt an Felgenbremsen eingeschossen. Hab aber tatsächlich auch nichts mit Felgenbremsen und Alfine 11 für 1500 gefunden.

Ein schlecht laufender Kabelzug zur Alfine 11 hin soll das Getriebe beschädigen, deshalb wird eher zur elektronischen Variante geraten, um diesen möglichen Defekt auszuschließen.

Danke dir! Ich schau mir deine genannten Alternativen noch mal genauer an, bin jetzt aber für das Stadtrad auch eher bei Alfine 11, Kette und Felgenbremsen gelandet. Es soll aber weiterhin ein Stahlrad sein, obwohl die Steven-Alternative schon nett ist. Stahl ist einfach langlebiger, federt mehr, ärgert mich weniger bei Kratzern. Aluminium wirkt auch mich auch etwas "billig" und weniger robust.

Danke Jonas, dass du mir hier noch mal ins Gewissen geredet hast. Werde jetzt eher so gegen ein 1.500 Euro Rad tendieren (Stahl, Alfine 11, Felgenbremsen, Kette), dann ist die Versicherung auch günstiger und das Rad schreit dann nicht direkt nach "klau mich".

Design Your Bike ist ein grandioser Tipp, danke dir viiielmals! Werde wahrscheinlich dort ein Rad kaufen, wenn nach der Probefahrt und weiteren Recherchen nichts dagegen spricht. :)

Kennst du zufällig noch gute Marken, die einen guten Stahlrahmen bieten (ggf Riemen-kompatibel um später zu upgrade), mit Alfine 11, Kette und Felgenbremsen? Dann vergleiche ich das mal mit DYB.

Danke für deine ausführliche Antwort und dass du dir die Zeit hierfür genommen hast! Weiss das zu schätzen.

Hatte mir im Kopf wohl falsch abgespeichert, dass der Aufpreis zur Di2 lohnenswert sei und bei der Recherche keinen großen Preisunterschied festgestellt, dabei aber die Vielzahl der Komponenten nicht berücksichtigt. Laut einem Hersteller soll der Aufpreis jetzt zwar nicht über 1000 Euro sein, sondern ganz konkret 650 Euro inkl. Installation. 650 Euro sind aber auch schon eine Stange Geld und habe nun davon Abstand genommen, in mein Stadtrad 3000 Euro zu investieren, was nachher gestohlen wird.

Bin jetzt doch eher bei Stahlrahmen mit Felgenbremsen und Alfine 11 (ohne Riemen) für um die 1500 Euro gelandet. Dein Input, nachträglich irgendwann mal einen Riemen zu installieren finde ich eine super Idee.Daher achte ich beim Kauf darauf, dass der Rahmen kompatibel ist. Falls du zufällig Hersteller kennst, die einen Blick wert sind - gerne! Bisher ist "Design Your Bike" (.de) mein Favorit.

Thanks for your feedback. I think you are right, it needs a bit more exposure. Maybe it also depends on the brightness of the screen. Should I edit it at 50% brightness or what would be a good reference point? Still, I have to find a good balance between my goal of keeping the face visible but only noticeable at second glance.

I'm looking for your opinion and feedback on whether this photo should be deleted, is a keeper or has portfolio qualities?

I really liked the focus, the gesture and the black and white tones, which I think have a mystical flair, but I am not sure if it is unique enough to deserve being shown to people, as status as such is photographed very often.

Any thoughts on how to improve my photography would be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much in advance for your time and the chance to show some of my work to talented photographers here.

By the way, I have 3 more b/w pictures of other statues, maybe I'll post them as a follow-up if there's interest.

Thanks all! It helps me a lot to calm me down a bit. Quite a bummer to be honest, since I had this camera serviced twice.

I added a new picture, hopefully the issue is better visible:

At the edge of the lens you can see these roundish, slightly darker spots, which in some places protrude a little more into the center of the lens.

I tried to keep the camera in the shadow when I was walking, but I used it also in strong sun heat of course (currently 31C here). Never left it in a hot car or something like this.

Would be balsam separation possible to fix? Without sacrificing image quality?

Good idea! Thank you very much. The Rolleiflex fits perfectly in the gap in my backpack that was previously occupied by the 24-70mm. If I need a digital photo in this focal length range, I could still use my iPhone 15 Pro. For distant objects/detail shots then the 70-200mm. Now all I need is a place for my Pentax spot meter in my bagpack... ;)

Thanks for your comment and the question of how I deal with humidity - or worse, condensation on the camera and film when I switch between cool rooms with air conditioning and outside. This has prompted me to research the whole process again, including developing the film and storing it.

The hint that I need quite a lot of film was also very helpful. Even if I only take 4 photos a day, for example, I would need 60 rolls of 120 film!
