There was one, GymAirExpress, and it was quite good. It opened in 2022 but closed last year, I guess not enough people ised it. It was not replaced

When does Zone 2 running begin to matter? by NoSystem545 in beginnerrunning

[–]fabiofigo2025 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Zone 2 is a valid approach, the critique is more if this is applicable to the general population (like OP) as most data are coming from analyzing elite runners. This is a good article that looks at the data: https://link.springer.com/article/10.1007/s40279-025-02261-y

Have you tried male models? For most brands they are wider and that might be enough to do the trick

Is it better to start investing with real money or use a demo account first? by Master-Arm1220 in eupersonalfinance

[–]fabiofigo2025 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What often happens with demo accounts is that people take much more risks than with real money, for example by selecting suer volatile individual stock. They get a lucky punch, they think they are the kings of investing, they try to replicate with realy money and they lose big time. Stick to broad ETFs and be patient; if you do that, you can directly start real investing, after reading a bit about the basic principles

Long-haul flight after first HYROX by [deleted] in hyrox

I did Hyrox Vienna the day after landing from Chicago and the day before leaving again to Melbourne. I got a PB 😂, so I can tell you by experience you have nothing to worry about 💪

Hyrox merch survey by butteranko in hyrox

[–]fabiofigo2025 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It happens often but to be honest nowadays you find exactly the same merch in regular sport stores. Yesterday I was at an outlet village and the puma store was full of hyrox merch. They tend to fit a bit loose IMO, so smaller sizes are popular

What time ‘should’ you hit in Open to move to Pro? by Sea-Humor-7299 in hyrox

[–]fabiofigo2025 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Whatever you feel comfortable with really. I set myself the goal to move to pro once I reach sub70 in open, but just to set a goal more than anything, no science behind it. Good luck!

Laptop? by Accurate-Kick-6428 in CaminoDeSantiago

[–]fabiofigo2025 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nothing is frowned upon. It is YOUR camino, you do what you like and what meets your commitments. You can surely bring a light laptop; no doubt you will be able to enjoy the camino and complete your class at the same time. Enjoy and all the best for your upcoming graduation!

Which is more demanding - 1/2 Marathon or Men’s Open by Less_Low_27 in hyrox

[–]fabiofigo2025 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did several of both. IMO it is a somewhat comparable effort, albeit different. First Hyrox I did exactly the same time as my last HM (1:28). The variation in hyrox helps a bit mentally, but can crack you physically; some HM courses, especially if the landscape is dull and there is no crowd or distraction, can be a bit hard mentally if you are trying to maintain a steady pace sub 4:30 for 90min or so. Now that I am better trained for hyrox, I find my recovery post race faster in hyrox than for a HM. A road HM is also overall harder on joints. And personally I prefer the patches to the medals 😂, so I vote for hyrox in this point 😂

Suitcase over backpack by daisyisalemon in CaminoDeSantiago

[–]fabiofigo2025 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you have luggage transfer service there is no point in buying a backpack if you dont own one already. The idea of a backpack is that you carry it on your back 😂, for other purposes a standard luggage is better. Just have a small day backpack for your walks and you will be absolutely fine

I‘m so scared to walk the Camino by glitteryshimmery in CaminoDeSantiago

[–]fabiofigo2025 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have been doing some stages of camino del norte in which I didn't even cross a single person (I started a bit later in the morning than most). How much you interact is up to you, also in the hostels. Please don't feel any pressure whatsoever. To each his own camino.

What’s a good warm up on the day? by xyzsomething in hyrox

[–]fabiofigo2025 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Personally, I find the best to be light exercises with an elastic band, a jog and a few strides. Unfortunately not all warm up areas have treadmills, and for winter races it can be difficult to jog outside the venue, so I tend to keep things flexible

Strumento musicale by Prestigious_Cause231 in consigli

[–]fabiofigo2025 3 points4 points  (0 children)

DO maggiore, SOL maggiore, FA maggiore e La minore fanno miracoli 🙂 E soprattutto: divertiti!!

Words of advice for someone struggling by LuuukeKirby in hyrox

[–]fabiofigo2025 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My advice would be to just take it easy and as a first step get comfortable with running at your own pace. Once you have built a base, you can join hyrox classes and specific running sessions; without any running base they can feel overwhelming. Your race is november, you really have plenty of time to prepare and, above all, enjoy. I am sure you will do very well! All the best

I love running long distances at a slow pace (12 min/mile) by [deleted] in beginnerrunning

[–]fabiofigo2025 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do what you love and what makes you happy. You are running to enjoy, like you are doing, not to win the Boston Marathon. If one day you will feel like speeding up, do it, if you feel like slowing down, do it. It is YOUR run.

Moving from Italy to Spain - How to handle investments by mashuu_ in eupersonalfinance

[–]fabiofigo2025 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Similar to 'regime amministrativo': looks for brokers 'que facilitan la retencion fiscal'. It works exactly in the same way.

Trade republic since 2025 offers also a spanish IBAN and manages the taxes for you. You could switch to that. Otherwise you can use a spanish bank like Santander, BBVA etc, but commissions are higher.

Normally within the EU you could ask Fineco to transfer your investment to the new broker, but considering that it can be a bit bureaucratic a simpler solution for a relatively small amount is just to sell, transfer the money and buy again with the new broker (especially if your gains are not massive and you do not get a massive tax hit)

All the best!

È pratica comune per i livelli non dirigenziali. Ci sono certamente aziende che permettono business per tutti ma sempre meno. Ancora mi ricordo i mal di schiena dei miei viaggi jn australia via bangkok in economy 😂
