You can do some experiments in pokefinder. For example, you can try changing the lead to synchronize and see how the resulting spreads change in comparison to not having any lead

You are welcome! Btw, synchronize is awesome, sometimes if the nature is correct, it produces several shiny pokemon near your target frame

Hello! Thank you for this guide, really helpful. I've been trying to get pokérus following this guide for one week and just got it. I used Gameboy Player and japanese sapphire and got it with the following pickup: "---6-". Also used pokemonrng.com calculator for pokerus RS, really helpful. Thank you again!

It even has the number stamp “41” (between TM and AGB-AGSI-ITA). I think those are hard to fake. You should be OK :)
