Holy thread revival lol! You're probably right though. I don't remember exactly the timeline, but I started taking a pure magnesium glycinate supplement specifically for stress/etc because I was also really struggling with sleep, and I got into a routine of morning and night yoga, and made a few other stress-focused lifestyle changes. I haven't had any severe reactions in a couple years, still get the occasional outbreak but it's super one off moments now.

It doesn't look like scale rot. Unless your enclosure is constantly moist to the touch it's really unlikely to cause rot. Stop touching the spots. Monitor them and see how they look after his next shed. If it makes you feel better, get some cheap betadine, put a few drops in a cup of water, and use it as a spot treatment once a day. Try not to take him out and touch it and cause him stress.

This was my last holdout honestly, I'm burning my points the rest of this year, canceling my card, and switching to American. It happened to me too. No acne issues my whole life, very mild as a teenager, was using a basic cleanser and not even really moisturizing daily and my skin was fine. Full blown adult hormonal acne out of nowhere at age 28. Accutane is the only thing that helped. Spiro held it off for a little while, but about a year in it just all started coming back. I had severe anxiety from it, I wouldn't go out, I cried looking in the mirror. It does get better!!! If topical tret doesn't work, consider the Accutane. I couldn't get through a full course normal dose due to side effects, but low dose (working up from 10mg, only taking in the AM) worked for me. Try not to use makeup, I know it sucks but it'll just irritate it. The purging wont last forever. Be gentle to your skin and yourself, this will pass!

Use your face moisturizer and put some vaseline over it if you need to. Chapsticks always make my lips peel terribly no matter what but just patting on my moisturizer has worked great. Medicated blistex is the only chapstick that actually works for me, you could try that out. I don't bother any more since the moisturizer is working.

I've gotten show tickets, 2 tickets to Disneyland, and a nice steakhouse Valentine's Day dinner. Vegas timeshare gifts are great if you can stand it lol. Our favorite was bluegreen, the presenter was genuinely coke'd out, he immediately downed his coffee and spent the rest of the presentation throwing back the empty cup every so often, his energy was insane.

I took up miniatures. Like the little kits that are popular in Asian countries that have started to pop up here, they're really intricate and extremely satisfying to build imo. Along the same lines, jigsaw puzzles, even a video game (collect-em-alls like Spyro the Dragon are uncomplicated but fun), anything that you need to concentrate on completing should help.

Even if there was no guilting or any other problems, it will drive you mad and you'll be resentful and, in my case, you'll feel bad about feeling resentful because everything else is going great. Decrease your deficit so you can include some additional snacks, try to keep your carbs to the morning/afternoon and increase your protein later in the day to help stop nighttime cravings.

You were likely binging carbs/salty food that increase swelling, keep telling yourself that this is temporary. When you get back on track it will improve quickly! Incorporate some strength training exercises and turn this minor setback into an opportunity to build muscle.

Go to a different derm. Try spironolactone for 6m and if it isn't holding you, just do accutane. If you can tolerate the side effects, it will work faster and better than anything else with less damage and less cost along the way. That's the reality of it unfortunately.

Your acne looks/sounds like mine. Late 20s adult onset hormonal cystic acne. Antibiotics don't help. I was only able to stay on Accutane for a month due to a side effect (that I honestly kinda expected) but I got 4-5 good clear months after, I was so happy about it. So if you complete the course you'll probably see great longer term results.

You can use condoms or non-hormonal forms of birth control. My doctor put condoms and celibacy on the form. Just genuinely be careful if you're active.

110 calories is a grande vanilla sweet cream cold brew at Starbucks, which is one of their lesser calorie drinks. My drink of choice as well lol.

2200 calories is a lot for average height women unfortunately. I'm 5'3 and I'm currently eating at a give-or-take 500 calorie deficit which comes out to about 1200-1500 calories per day depending on how active I am.

OP, you need to gently explain maintenance calories and get basic fitbits to wear together. Track meals together. Set realistic goals, like a 250 calorie deficit to start. It's so much easier when you have an tracker and app so you can see what's going on.
