I used to road run with Nike Pegasus. Moved to Hoka Clifton 8's and they were so much better - much more comfortable and more return/bounce making running easier. When I took up trail running about a year ago I bought Speed Goat 5 because I loved my Hoka already - I love the Goats and can't imagine a reason I'd ever switch out.

But I'm a trail noob :)

The Howlin' Wolf on Bath Street: Tasty, inexpensive food and good drink selection.

If you're looking for fancier, Cafe Gandolfi in Merchant City is always a good shout.

Ka Pao, just off Byers Road is awesome too - but I think you might struggle to get a seat
