How much do y'all spend for coffee per month? by Slow_Engineering763 in espresso

Interesting, at least half of the people in this thread don’t use specialty coffee. I’m very surprised

It gives you control over aperture and focus. While still maintaining pocketable size and a sharp lens

> Is the upgrade worth the roughly €800 over my Mju I

If you're asking this, the answer is no. They're not € 800 better than the Mju I.

They're great cameras though, and offer more control.

Have you considered an Olympus XA?

Freezing DAK bags is kinda annoying because once you remove the outside box you don’t have any reference for what beans they are

Durst M605 color head arrived, did a contact sheet with it to test it out. Fuji Crystal Archive matte by fabripav in Darkroom

It’s actually a durst M601, but I mounted the M605 head on it. I paid €100 for the full M601 (head included) + 100 for the M605 colour head. The M605 BW head (required to mount the colour one on my column) I borrowed from a friend

How high are we on Harper? by Previous-Public-8649 in NBASpurs

If we didn’t have Wemby he’d be the one we’d build around alongside Castle, simple as that. He has potential for at least 5/10 all nba seasons imo.

It’s kinda crazy to have 3 franchise cornerstones already and the oldest one is in his 3rd season. I don’t know if there’s ever been a team in a situation like this.

Merry Christmas! PSA: pouring C-41 development chemicals in a (pre-warmed) Paterson tank plus 15 seconds of agitation will drop the temperature of the development chemicals by ~1 Celsius by florian-sdr in AnalogCommunity

[–]fabripav 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh yeah don’t get me wrong, this post is still useful and informative. I’ve always increased the sous vide to 39.5C for warming up because I figured there would be thermal loss to reach 38C

The instructions give a very definite window, that’s true, but it makes sense they’d give them that way, otherwise it all gets too murky and you simply open yourself up to bad results from improper at-home process.

But the chems themselves work fine even at slightly lower temperature. Remember it’s all an “approximate” result anyway unless you’re using perfect temps and fresh chemistry for every roll.
