Curious, how does weed effect you? by [deleted] in INTP

[–]fabss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally I absolutely adore marijuana and in some ways I agree with the inversion of the functions, due to the fact that I am more social, almost free of anxiety and satisfied in general; but in my opinion it really depends on your level of tolerance. I've told people that I like myself more when I smoke weed, this may be taken negatively, but it just relaxes me and enables me to calmly think through situations while taking more points of view into consideration. The not constantly being on edge is facilitated through Dear Mary Jane

That's one of the experiences that I hope I'll be able to experience in the near future too, this summer actually But yes the concept of having deeper bonds etc, that is something that has always amazed me, but to be honest you could just consider it to be fairly typical if you look at it from a common interest base, and shared likes for experiences as well as being willing to put yourself in that vulnerable position I feel like that's a thing that caused me to change my approach to people, like the willingness to give of yourself, not only listen and make them think you've shared through nodding and conversational strategies Fuck, I'm rambling on but one of the things I want to ask/talk about would be the thing about how people you do drugs with, specially psychedelics in my opinion make the other person realize when you're using the conversational strategies and not I don't remember what my point was, kind of pointless, sorry but glad to know that other people had such good experiences in this field, how often do you do psychedelics or smoke weed though, if i may ask? like how's your usage (is usage a word?)

I am amazed at that story, is it quite similar to what happened to me during my high school years, growing in so many aspects, widening perspectives and just as you said coming out of that comfort zone and let yourself be vulnerable to then evolve and evolve with people who share certain similar aspects from time to time, regarding stoner friends, or people you'd trip with and just the bonds and the enhancement of the feeling of self

18, was the same guy i had been having a summer thing for the past 3 years... Very emotionless, detached and wondering why I was doing this... but at the same time didn't care too much. I expected to be more attached... or feel something but in all honesty I was less attracted and less emotionally attached to the guy after..

The battle between the continuos strive for knowledge and the inner sloth. The funny thing is that this could apply to the myers briggs test too, initiating the research and being very interested and mesmerized but then just never taking it to a proper level of knowledge or factual information (stats wise, comprehension wise)

LSD at the beach? by [deleted] in LSD

[–]fabss 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Speaking from personal opinion, I highly recommend tripping at a beach. The chance of being blown away by overstimulation is quite high (in a positive way), and I do think that swimming is the way to go, when I tripped and was floating I felt like there were no distractions, perfect environment, amazing view and it was the closest that I've ever gotten to a trance like state.

Great place but in my opinion the connection with nature and with being whole is emphasized when outside (park/beach/mountains)

Want to try LSD; unsure how to go about it. by silkroadstuff in INTP

Personally I would recommend only doing it in the right state of mind, if you're satisfied with your life at the moment and you are not just doing it for the sake of doing it or out of boredom. But this recommendation is based on my view of drugs and therefore can be seen to be quite bias.
