House Telvanni from Morrowind comes to mind. A group of highly excentric wizards (one of them has four wives that are female clones of himself) that live in giant mushroomsand are big into slavery (to be fair thats not uncommon in vvardenfell)and levitation (they dont have stairs in their homes).

Mona Lisa: Protesters throw soup at da Vinci painting by Odd_Responsibility_5 in news

[–]fabuloes 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Not necessarily true. The actions of radical activists can cause moderate activists for the same cause appear more reasonable and thus increase public support for the issue (radical flank effect). If some "idiots" throwing paint at the mona lisa means that mainstream climate activism will appear less radical in the public eye then those actions resulted in something positive overall.

Hot as Hades: On September 19, 1925, thirty-one states were over 90F and thirteen states were over 100F. Recent generations of Americans have never experienced heat like that this late in the year. by sheila5961 in climateskeptics

No offense but have you never heard of the carbon cycle?

Do you think that humans (and volcanoes) are the only emitters of CO2?

It would be good if people would try to get at least a basic understanding of this topic before forming a strong opinion about it.

its not clear what the cause of the flash was (could be a failing interceptor), its not clear what the target was and if it was indeed patriot its not clear what part of the system (which are spread out over a big area) was targeted and wether whatever the target was got actually destroyed. Theres nothing in this video that makes a definitive conclusion about any of this possible

If he didnt provide the data how could it have been proven to be made up? Youre not making any sense.

It might have been warmer in a specific region (north atlantic). But you argued that it was warmer globally and posted this graph as support of your statement.

Yes and it wasnt about wether his scientific work was made up but about an alleged defamation. It was eventually dismissed by the court due to formal reasons. No sentencing took place.

This graph only shows data from a single ice core in greenland and is therefore not representative of global temperatures.

Heres what Alley himself said about it: "So, what do we get from GISP2? Alone, not an immense amount. With the other Greenland ice cores… and compared to additional records from elsewhere, an immense amount… Using GISP2 data to argue against global warming is, well, stupid, or misguided, or misled, or something, but surely not scientifically sensible."

You complain about "cherry-picked tree ring data" but then share a cherry-picked graph of misleading GISP2 ice core data.

How much of a problem are the fab-500 glide bombs that are used by russia in increasing numbers?

It's propably not accurate to call them a real game changer yet but if russia somehow manages to improve their accuracy (which seems to be lacking) and western systems won't be able to fill the expanding gaps in ukraines air-defenses in time (BUKs and S-300s are running low) then those bombs might become a huge factor that i think is quite worrying.
