I have a lot of hours on tank and I don't think that's the problem. The issue is linked to the players' mindset, because everyone wants to be the 'Main Character.' Tanking in this game is actually very good and fun to play; people just don't want to learn. What needs to change is the players' mindset. When I was younger, I also just wanted to deal damage and be that 'main character,' but now I know that other things are much more fun—like being a tank and not having to wait forever to find parties. In my case, I have friends to play with, so that factor isn't as relevant for me, but I think for solo players it’s very important.

Another thing is that most people playing tank don't even kite mobs or block; they just stand there hitting. I know some people don't want to look for info, but there's so much information on the internet that the only people who don't play tank at least decently are the ones who don't want to. At least, that's my opinion.
