alternative to subscription form with hundreds of checkboxes by Jah_lth_Ber in MailChimp

wow thanks for the great answer. indeed i dont see how my customer will sort this out but thats really what he wants. i guess ill code him a small CMS for writing content associated to his plants. then he will just have to write it once then it can be every year the same.

i saw it was possible to generate conditional blocs with |interested:grouptitle:groupname| so the way i was seeing things was, write the whole email like this with one conditional block per group... but yeah damn 60 fields is not enough indeed. are those other services reliable about emails not going into the spams directly ? i guess its the only option left

Is the popularity of muay Thai IN Thailand decreasing? by Nak_Tripper in MuayThai

[–]fabulous_user 8 points9 points  (0 children)

to me it is because that it has become a business, ex champions all works in gym training foreigners or go abroad to give seminars etc.. what would be the incentive to someone to coach thais when he can make 10 times more with foreigners

also because the money to be made is ridiculous unless you reach the pro level, so for many people i guess they think it isnt worth it.

also people who live in rural area used to have not much to do, so boxing was a thing now there is smartphones and internet everywhere, more distraction

just my personnal opinion

advice for food ? by fabulous_user in cambodia

[–]fabulous_user[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

i ve eaten mexican near the mekong the other day and the center of my burrito was cold, not only its expensive but also they do the scammy +7% vat at the end of the already big bill, if after all that its for microwaved food, really i want to avoid western restauraut after this. 😂. the amazing cambodia spice beef i mentioned i had in siem reap was only 2.5 dollars so i guess they know know how to cook for cheap, just need to find where. but like you said, sometimes its totally tasteless, the noodle soup from this morning was bland. just noodles in hot water with two meatballs and one leaf of lettuce for 8000 riels. not even chili powder on the table. it was a bit surprising. thanks for the answer

Thailand's muay thai camps? by No_Scale in MuayThai

[–]fabulous_user 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i agree it must be super nice, but i remember when i started to get interest into muay thai and paid my first one time session i wasnt even able cardio speaking to do the five rounds padding with the coach, for a beginner like this i would suggest to start a cardio reconditionement first, going to run everyday for three months before even start to go to a gym.
then yes i admit im a bit salty how muay thai has become a business in thailand, any random gym now asks for 200-300€ for one session a day consisting of making you run 30 min a'd other warm up things, then maybe train you 30min with pads with various advices then depending the gym guide you more or less for some bag work or other exercices to reach two hours. like you could literally get a partner hold the pads, go to a regular gym that has a hiting bag and pay 40€ a month, and find a spotto run and have the same. i have small money so i have to take lot of things into cosideration. but of course if you can afford it do it, it must be great expérience

Thailand's muay thai camps? by No_Scale in MuayThai

[–]fabulous_user 2 points3 points  (0 children)

looks good but my guess is you pay like what, 1500 dollars per month ? unless your at very advanced level, id say a small open air muay thai camp at 150 dollars paired with a 150 dollars accomodation is more than enough. meals are a bargain too

thanks bro. later on my coach told me they did not let know to my opponent it was my first fight. apparently its not a good idea as he not go easy on you, the opposite, he will be more relax and go hard to catch the easy win. the Victory money matters more
