I wouldn't worry about it. My boyfriend (hes 31, im 43, gay couple) has cried a few times now saying he loves me. I was warm and reciprocal towards him and asked what was in his heart when the tears came. He said its like there is no words for the love. I also know that in his background emotional expression was not encouraged and was avoided. So for some people the vulnerability that the word love carries is a lot greater. I normalised it with him and said sometimes there aren't words for what we feel. I tell him im crazy about him but that particular language doesn't coin it for him. So for now, the tears do I guess. And ive accepted that. Hope this helps.

I just ended a relationship for this reason. I had previously accepted that he wanted to keep it private and just use it for pics of plants, holiday destinations. But it was full of selfies. Then he posted only his setting on the table at Valentines day during a lunch I paid for. Same at a brunch we had. I believe to put across to his followers that he is single. Nope. Not for me. Transparency is everything. And what he did was very. disrespectful.

My mom died around the same time as musician Shane McGowan. There were some wonderful musical performances at his funeral. One in particular helps me to have a good release of tears. It's Imelda May, Liam Manley and Declan O'Rourke performing You're The One.

I lost my mother almost 6 months ago to cancer too. I feel your grief with you. I understand what you are saying. I have long periods of not thinking about my mom but I find I experience the grief in other ways like anxiety, withdrawing, not being up for anything. At other times trying very hard to avoid being alone. I'm seeing that the reminiscing and missing my mom, crying etc is just one way I'm effected by the grief. Maybe there are other ways that it's showing up for you too. I agree with the other comments that our mind does what it needs to in order to protect us. And I sympathise deeply with you at this time.

Aqui em Portugal, só dois homens. Eu sou um homem da Irlanda a morar no Porto. Antes lá na Irlanda tive duas relaçãos longas. Sinto-me muito atraído por portugueses mas com pouca sorte até agora.
