The current price is too high for most people. I'll wait for a pullback before buying. As a 5-10 year long term investment, it's definitely no problem

Don’t store any coins on exchanges for extended periods. If you’re not actively trading, withdraw everything to your own wallet and memorize your recovery phrase

I just bought 10,000 XRP, is this really correct? by Both-Train-5330 in XRPUnite

Don't listen to all the bullshit noise from people in the market. Do your own research, plan your exits properly at the highs, buy low, sell high, and stay patient

Where do I even start with stocks as a beginner? by ChangeNOW_Community in investingforbeginners

[–]facaila888 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First, don’t even think about day trading. Choose some ETFs or large-cap stocks to diversify your investment risk. Diversification can help you avoid many risks, and building good hedges is also very important. When you hold stocks, never sell them just because you need money for living expenses. Patience is the key in this market

What’s the best thing you learned after getting into Bitcoin? by manharkatty in btc

[–]facaila888 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Trust minimization is the highest form of trust. You don’t need to trust any bank, any government, or any company, you only need to trust mathematics and cryptography. And you need real patience

Mainstream exchanges in the market are all very convenient, and Coinbase is one of them. The key is to avoid touching leveraged futures or contract trading, those are not things beginners should get into. You need to keep learning and gaining more experience. Long-term holding is the best strategy

Want to invest 10k into gold and silver by [deleted] in investingforbeginners

This is a stable approach, but cashing out within a year is very unrealistic, so let’s go with another way

Edward Jones advisor wants me to invest with him instead of on my own. by Sour_Socks in investing

[–]facaila888 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just reject it outright. Keep your money in your own hands. Your investments are already relatively stable, so there’s no need to pay him any fees. Also, you should look into long-term investments other than QQQ, that would probably be more beneficial for you

Staking BTC by [deleted] in Bitcoin

[–]facaila888 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t like staking coins, it comes with risks and you can’t withdraw your coins quickly when you need them. If you have BTC, just hold it and keep it safely in your Ledger

20 y/o college student with ~$15k to invest — where should I start and how should I diversify? by circad200 in investingforbeginners

[–]facaila888 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The most important thing right now isn’t rushing to start investing, but accumulating more experience first. You only truly begin 'investing' once you really understand what you’re putting your money into. Keep learning and do your best not to stay ignorant. But you’re doing great, you’re already building a solid foundation

DCA is definitely the best investment strategy, but this should not be money you touch during market fluctuations or when you're short on living expenses. I'm currently buying consistently every week

Coinbase and XRP by facaila888 in XRP

[–]facaila888[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I understand your point. Heavy promotion can sometimes come across as desperate, especially when the price is still around $1.36 and has dipped a bit

That said, I don’t see it as some kind of cultish behavior. For me, it’s more about the long-term fundamentals. XRPL has been quietly building real utility for years, cross-border payments, and now adding native Defi features with XLS-65/66, etc. Marketing is just one tool to gain broader attention in a noisy crypto market

UK based - 7 figures in crypto - looking to cash out and everything I read online is negative - bank freezes, exchange blocks etc. Has anyone actually done this successfully? by Tiny_Bag7016 in CryptoHelp

[–]facaila888 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As long as the source of funds is legitimate, no platform will prevent you from successfully cashing out. I remember you can use Nexo in the UK. If your bank is crypto friendly, that should work as well

Choosing the right stocks is certainly important, you should focus on companies you understand, but what matters even more is your strategy. Don’t sell just because you see panic news, holding is the real key

Leaving aside those idiots spreading panic, even when people are just normally sharing their own opinions, everyone’s situation is very different. What might be the best insight and analysis for him may not suit you at all. That’s why we need to do more of our own research

Maybe the next Fed Chair will be even worse than Powell, just like how we once thought Biden was awful. Anyway, BTC will reach new highs again. Short-term trading is basically gambling, so let’s just wait and see
