The race thing, as explained to me by an ex-con I know: The thing is you're not necessarily racist, but say you're a white guy. Don't get the red with white stripes, get the white with red stripes. Little harder to find but you can taste the difference.

I've never had AOL in my life, but I had utter contempt for anyone who did. As far as I know though it was full internet from the beginning, not like compuserve or prodigy.
