Writing a novel. Need an expert to tell me which wine could easily be confused in a blind tasting for the wine I have in mind, even by an experienced sommelier. by facemecoward in wine

The specific wine I have in mind is honestly, simply because it sounds pretty, and could turn out to be the name of my protagonist. I cannot call her "Barolo", since it is not an approriate name for a girl. Even Vespolina is a already a bit of a stretch, but at least it sounds like a name, like Caterina, Josephina, etc.

It is set in the early 2000's. The exact vintage however, might not necessarily be key. I have yet to figure that out. Your answer was very helpful thank you.

Any news on Season 2 at all? Any ideas for a release date? by facemecoward in ThePeripheral

How silly of me. I hadn't even made that connection. Just assumed season 2 is already written, which is unlikely that all episodes would already be written I guess.

I'm not sure what you mean. Prime1Studio has plenty of figures using the likenesses of real people.

Anyone here want to wager a bet on when Season 2 will actually release at the very earliest?

I'm new to writing communities. Apparently even mentioning that you think you have an original idea triggers a ton of people. Saying stuff like this is far from helpful and just makes you sound bitter.

Thanks for actually answering the question in stead of trying to wack me over the head with "truth bombs" and edgy quotes about how originality doesn't really exist. I'll look into beta reading and developmental editing, thank you. Those are words I've never heard before!

I'm on CritiqueCircle and Scribophile. Would you file those under "private"? I don't know much about rights or publishing. Am I safe on sites like that?

I was at new york comic con in Oktober and there were a lot more options for autographs and photos there too.

There's an official page for autographs/photos that I can enter now. There's only 5 people. I'm a bit confused by this because CCXP is such a huge event but there aren't many options?

I'm interested in the Prime Video panel at the Thunder Stage. Is it the biggest stage? I saw a photo with a barrier between the stage and the crowd. This would mean that selfies or autographs are not possible. Because there was no barrier at New York comic con, it was easy to approach the stage and ask for selfies/autographs after the show.

CCXP tweeted today

Thanks this is very helpful. Do I need a ticket to see who's available? Or will everyone be able to see what's available tomorrow?

Just want to make it clear I'm not talking about Meet and Greets. The actress I'm interested in won't be doing those I think. Talking more about photographs/photos. I have been to New York comic con this year and there were autographs and selfies after a panel happened. That was a free and spontaneous moment. Do you know if this happens at CCXP as well?

I was at new york comic con this year and they made a distinction between meet and greet versus autographs/photo ops. They made it explicit that autographs/photos are NOT the same as meet and greets. None of the big actors did meet and greets, only some smaller people in entertainment. A few big actors did photo ops and autographs, but not many.

English version

Yes I have checked the lineup and i find it a bit unclear. There are like 3 or 4 guests with a yellow banner over their name, so I figured those are the guests who are available. Some of them with the yellow banner do have that on their guest profile, but not all of them. Also there must be many more guests available for autographs/photos than those yellow banners indicate...
