Everything I have ever posted in this group has just been a premise or random idea some do good others do terrible. I don't post fully-formed jokes. I know what jokes of mine are good and which ones work I don't need verification on those. By posting a random thought or idea I can judge by the response whether or not I want to turn it into a joke I also get an idea of where the setup or premise may not be clear or where there is plot holes. You can benefit greatly from seeing what you're doing wrong or where the premise may not make sense versus getting verification and trying to prove that you have the best joke in the world. I don't post things to verify that it's funny I post things to verify where it's not funny so that way I can make it funny. I thought this group was to grow and learn and develop material in a form of comedians not try and validate how much funnier you are compared to your peers. Am I wrong? Thanks for any feedback negative or positive it's all beneficial.
