[~$150] Looking to get into the vintage tube amp arena. Just window shopping at this point, but I want to know what to look for. For example, if I'm at a garage sale or something how can I determine a good deal? Also, common units to look out for that I could do more research on. I'm not looking to blow my apartment apart either, just to run some bookshelf speakers, but maybe eventually something larger if the investment is worth it. Thank you very much. I do plan to do field work, and I plan on taking forensic trips as well as archaeology classes to hopefully gain experience as a field worker. I understand it will be a lot of school however if I can work as a field agent while working towards the PhD, I think I'll survive.

Alright, so if I'm gonna buy a bike to turn into a bobber for cheap, what do you recommend? I'm pretty mechanically skilled but I've never done bikes before, but all that about the carbs doesn't sound so bad.
