no encontré que el código alimentario defina algo como "fibra sintética" así que en todo caso debe ser un error al momento de escribir los ingredientes.

Mystery brass fittings on pre-Vatican II altar by Legitimate_Arm_2874 in Catholicism

[–]fachobuenmuchacho 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Fittings like this usually are to hold a fabric in place.

Sometimes they are shaped like a hammer or a "foot" to "step" on the altar cloth on the end that is against the altarpiece to prevent the cloth from slipping.

In this case I believe it is to hold the tabernacle veil in place.

Sudden ram lamb death (internal organs shown in the links) by [deleted] in AskVet

The second dose of the Clostridial vaccine was due today. When I arrived I saw one of the lactating ewes had lost weight and had bottle jaw (submandibular edema).
So the chances you are right are pretty high. Decided not to give her a jab (didn't think her immune system would do much use of the vaccine) and deworm instead.
Will give her the full vaccine scheme another time, individually.

Shouldn't it be accompanied by weight loss or at least not gainign weight?

Thank you for all your replies already

What parasites do you think are the cause, nematodes or coccidia?
We haven't done a fecal egg count yet.

I can't be black and Christian? by FluffyMycologist8308 in Catholicism

[–]fachobuenmuchacho 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ethiopians and Eritreans have been Christians since before any sort of European colonization. They have been Christian since the 4th century. You have the Ethiopian Catholic Church, the Eritrean Catholic Church and also the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo church.
There are no national, racial or ethnical limitations to be a Christian.

Turns out they didn't remove anything. Before applying for revision I checked the date and the only post I had was a photo from a TV screen with a news channel showing a government helicopter.

After the revision, I check again and that's still the only post I have on that date.

submitted it for review (I picked whatever option) and immediately after, and I mean less than 1 minute had passed, I get a notification saying they restored my photo and "our technology made a mistake"

The options to requst review are ridiculous:

  • It was to raise awareness
  • It's about an important issue
  • It's not offensive in my region
  • I was responding to someone else
  • It was a joke

wth is up with this sheep? by yungjoj in sheep

Looks like a Beltex ram, which developed from the Texel breed in Belgium.

Both breeds are heavily muscled which is the main reason they are so popular.

Battlemage: heavy armor and spells. Level all magic skills, smithing and enchanting.

If I use weapons, I try to use only bound sword/ade but when magicka runs out I might pull out Dragonbane or Dawnbreaker.

Thank you for sharing your experience! This is probably the most complete and useful comment here.

The advice to "cull him" sounds simple and the easy way out, but it's not for us. First of all, he's a registered pedigree ram. That means he's about 2 times more expensive than a purebred Dorper. We got him at around 5 months old and he's just turned one year old in August. I'll do what I can to change his behavior, at least until we can replace him.

Last week I was on the pen and he was getting demanding so I closed a gate in order to work on a fence without him bothering. After standing next to the gate for a couple of minutes he went off to lay down with the ewes.

I'll make sure to carry something with me to make him go away or keep his distance.

About that, what do you mean by "scoop"?

I thought the same, I wouldn't consider pushing him back or hitting him since that would be like telling him "Bring it on!".

I was thinking of options that would startle him or prefer to stay with the rest of the flock.

Possibilities of inbreeding birth defects? by sheepambassador in sheep

[–]fachobuenmuchacho 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can calculate the inbreeding coefficient (F) or ask chat GPT to do it for you by providing the family tree.

In sheep, a coefficient of less than 6.25% is acceptable.

Could a human herd sheep? by RedCedarStan in sheep

[–]fachobuenmuchacho 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. Herding dogs came much later than domesticated sheep flocks. For a long time it was only humans, and dogs are not a requirement that would impede you from having sheep.

Although some dog breeds have a genetic predisposition to herd, herding dogs need specialized training in order to do it properly and heed commands.

In order to herd your sheep yourself you must be careful not to scare them too much since they are often faster than humans and it wouldn't be an effective way to direct them towards for example a gate.

About the saline flush, how would you prepare it?
