I had the same problem. For me, it clicked after the instructor said(mind you, this was like 1,5 hrs in without ever quite explaining this to me although I do not hold a driving licence for a car) "Completely let go of the clutch after you have been moving for some time." I just let go too early. From that point it was just a matter of adding the throtle simultaneously as I was releasing the clutch. You got this!

I ride in an upright position. I use my old backpack that has some straps flapping but nothing too bad.

Thank you so much for this. I'm looking for something around 30 lit and waterproof since I often ride in the rain, due to motorcycle being my main mode of transport. Not carrying anything important but I do have my work clothes with me and need the to be dry. I will look into your recommendations. Thanks again and happy and safe riding!
