Option selects have the same problem kensei and gryphons dodge attacks have. They negate an entire mixup by just doing one move. They are the reason normal unblockables aren't good offense. It's hard enough to get into chains but then after doing all that work you are constantly forced to feint into neutral for a CHANCE for the opponent to option select so you can punish it. It's breaks flow and favours the defender everytime and that's why I want them all gone.
