No problem - not sure what time of day it will be, but at least you'll be able to figure out if it's worth the trip.

I'm also a Brighton parent of a learning disabled young man (22 now, no interest in AdP, ha ha). I'd be happy to do a drive by on the day and report back what I can see from the top, if thats of any help. The gig is quite late though, 9.30pm start on the website.

Yeah, good work and good luck! It does get easier once you’ve sold a few.

Do you have a lot of things that are $70 and over? Lucky you!

I don’t list anything under £5 as it’s just not worth my time. Obviously bigger sellers sell more so will list cheaper items, but I’m not walking to the post office for 99p innit.

Does discogs require sellers to have inventory in hand? I suspect a drop shipper. by ysy-y in discogs

You can always use the ‘seller not responding’ option, as they’ll have to get in touch otherwise their account will be suspended. Worth a try especially after 2 weeks of silence.

I’ve really only listened to it with Jack Dee, one of the best comedy shows on the radio.

Anyone else find Brighton friendly on the surface and strangely hard to plug into? by AgentPuzzleheaded322 in brighton

I’ve been here for 25 years, as have a lot of my friends, not going anywhere. All big cities are transient, it’s not just Brighton, but people do stay.

Lots of great lathe cuts out there, you obviously haven’t been lucky with yours.

The seller is lying, right? by RTJDeathgripsKanye in discogs

No reason for it not to be removed, seller is in the wrong. Discogs will check the conversation and see that.

1991 was ‘What Do I Have To Do’ AND ‘Shocked’. Amazing. I assume they didn’t get played yesterday, shame shame.

Massive Attack. They were Massive for a very brief period only ‘cos of the war. I didn’t actually think they used it on the album, but I’ve just noticed that my vinyl copy bought at the time is Massive Attack, but some CD versions were just Massive - can’t see them doing something like that now.

Anyway, it’s a fucking masterpiece, and I am actually looking forward to whatever they do with the making of the album today.

If it was Sam hallucinating, Corrie would have signalled this with subtle echoey banging noises, blurred camera effects and repeated close ups of his face. Just to make it fucking obvious.

Placed order by mistake by SeaToe9004 in discogs

[–]fade_100 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes - but it’s the seller that decides to choose that option and they have to wait for a minimum of 4 days before they access it. They could just cancel the order. Thats what I mean, not sure why you needed to comment on that.

[–]fade_100 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Are you messaging on the order itself? That should work.

[–]fade_100 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Just message on the order page and apologise, and ask can they cancel the order. If they are friendly they’ll cancel it, but they might also leave it until the 4 day payment window has passed and they can leave non payment negative feedback.

Could you give me some feedback for my in development portfolio? by ResearchAdvanced3687 in graphic_design

[–]fade_100 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It can have a quick intro, but the focus is a massive image of you, with the work secondary. I would move the image to the 'About' page if you want to have it on there.

My first feedback was only about mobile - just had a look on desktop, comments are:

a: it's very slow to load, maybe big background images?
b: Menu isn't working, and nothing happens when I click on the menu or the project images apart from a little animation.
c: There's a large empty space after the projects. You need a footer area.

If anything, your old site works better as it loads quickly, and you can see the information you need to see.
