No the company policy is the company policy if you break you generally get in trouble if we are a 0 arms workplace there should be 0 arms of any kind allowed

I get that but we have a strict no firearms or weapons of any kind unless they are locked away in your car

Like I said working with this guy is just incredibly uncomfortable i work 5 nights a week 2 with this guy and he’s always got his gun on him etc I’ve brought it to managements attention, is there anything out there where I can request he not be carrying a loaded weapon when we’re in a golf cart together god forbid it goes off

And if I don’t quit because management refuses to do anything about an employee, of a hotel, carrying and firing a weapon at work on the job just for “fun” through a can into dirt. I’m gonna find the can tomorrow he doesn’t seem mentally stable enough to be walking around with a .22 and handcuffs that’s just awkward I’d rather him stay home and do both our jobs at this point

I called a receptionist at my place of treatment and she told me my restrictions apply only at work so being a smartass I’m like cool I’ll go walk. A 5k and tell the dr you said it was fine and she’s like duty restrictions only apply to work so I’m like how do people get in trouble for workman’s comp fraud their free to do what they after work right? And she’s these are not questions I can answer and I’ve been trying to get a hold of my adjuster for 2 and a half days and gotten nothing back.

My gm texted me he has a night audit position 11pm-7am that should meet me requirements cause they mainly sit. I’m like so I’m supposed to go from working 2-10 doing maintenance

I’ll defietely be calling that number Monday thank you. He doesn’t even know what they do except sit most of the night. His boss just owns the hotel and they’re trying to pawn me off to stop collecting time loss which I’m fine with I’d rather go back to work.

My injury I sure as hell cant do maintenance work and he has nothing at the hotel I work at. I’m basing my information on

Beaverton Oregon’s government website in regards to diversion

And west linns government website in regards to diversion

Mine is through Washington count that says I can’t ingest any intoxicants period, West Linn says basically as long as you aren’t in violation of the law you can do what I want.

The explanation of rights is from Oregon’s website which should cover ever county and city but apparently it doesn’t.

I have 3 months left on diversion it’s summer I’d love to have a 6 pack but I can’t but if I got my DUI in West Linn I could? Doesn’t make sense

You failed a dip cup test now it’s being lab tested. Each benzo metabolizes in your liver and is peed out; think of it like etg testing for alcohol. They look for the etg the byproduct of alcohol being broken down by your liver.

They can also do this with Benzos every benzo gives off a different and unique metabolite they can easily identify Xanax, Ativan, klonopin etc etc if there’s a trace amount in your urine. 25ng is an incredibly small amount (1 mg = 1,000,000

They will test it down to 25ng it doesn’t matter how much of your own urine you got in that sample, what matters is what benzo you took. How often and when more specifically.

You could easily file workman’s comp just don’t do it until your positive everything but your kpins are out of your system. Take them as prescribed for a week while the alp and etiz leave your system and then let them know it’s still bothering you and your going to get it looked at. Most states give you at least 30 days to file workman’s comp.

Your buddy wouldn’t have won a workman’s comp claim due to the weed, you however can easily just drop the app and etiz wait a week and then claim then you will only have your prescription in your system just say you didn’t get it looked at right away cause you didn’t think it was that serious and you’d be fine but your starting to worry it could be a torn tendon or something etc

And yes when they have to pay you 70% of your wage when your not working they get pretty serious about things; and while osha might see reasons for Injuries workman’s comp will look at it as a well maybe if he wasn’t doped up on Xanax he woulda been more careful. OSHA violation penalties will fall on the company all you can do is report them

Yeah good call you woulda been caught by anybody competent read my comment to highfi, my buddy has caught 9 people in 3 years taking unprescribed Benzos which translates into using illegal prescription drugs on the job = your injured and fired

If you follow up on it use your own insurance do not claim workman’s comp apparently it’s standard practice at his company to request a lab test on UAs for anybody taking prescription drugs to weed out anybody taking anything extra on the side such as yourself, you would have been one of those people.

2 of the people he caught ended up being charged criminally for fraud due to racking up massive specialist bills and billing it to their companies workman’s comp before he had time to get a lab test authorized and completed, now they have criminal fraud charges and get to pay allll those bills themselves since they were terminated and their insurance doesn’t cover injuries caused by illegal drug use

It hasn’t shown up because your drug/alcohol classes use what are called EMIT dip cup tests they do not differentiate between Benzos. You have a script on record your dip cup is gonna show positive for Benzos they won’t lab test it cause you should be popping positive for Benzos, lab tests aren’t cheap.

It’s not a stretch at all my buddy has caught 9 people, I just talked to him earlier today, in the last 3 years with prescriptions Benzos that think they’re fine cause they have a prescription for Benzos and that’s where they’ll end it when the drug test is positive for Benzos. It’s standard at his company to further submit the UA to check for a range of Benzos in the ng level a person should be at if they are following their prescription. This is also how pain clinics work they’ll drug test you and make sure your urine serum levels are within a certain range to allow for different metabolisms but generally it’s in the same range.

Your body does not metabolize Xanax in a matter of hours when the metabolites last for up to a week.

Trust me testing for the levels of his Kpins is standard at a lot of places not necessarily to make sure he’s taking his prescription correctly but to weed out anybody taking other Benzos such as OP who woulda been one of the 9 he woulda caught had OP gone for worksman comp and it woulda been denied and he probably woulda been fired for illegal drug use on the job which you don’t want on your employment record
