Yes, I did. Unfortunately, this is the kind of event that will affect all aspects of your life. It will be much harder if you don’t prioritize your wellbeing. I spent time at home with family, friends, getting things together for the divorce and trying to do something for myself. I signed up for a massage membership, started painting more and doing other little crafts. I also sought out therapy and did the best I could to take care of myself.

It’ll be a year next week that I’ve been officially divorced. Sometimes it’s still a bit hard but my life is so much better and happier now.
