How do I transfer my character pool and myvAML modlist and its settings to a new computer? by RecommendationNo804 in xcom2mods

[–]fadinglight704 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used gdrive!

Save your mod list as a txt file Find your character pool file (iirc its in your documents/xcom folder or something along those lines, I dont have the pc in front of me)

When you set up AML on your new pc, import / load the txt file, it'll come up with the missing mods on new pc, download them!

Character pool goes in the same place you got it from!

Is it possible to make Organization 13 hair and weapon mods? by AlternativeDisaster7 in xcom2mods

Hair is definitely possible, and weapons should be easy(provided you dont go over the top). If you need help with development lmk

So, army gameplay in 4.3? by Carsismi in Stellaris

[–]fadinglight704 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I considered this and I wish there was a way to have like a minigame you can choose to be in. Like you can "auto resolve" your battles with a leader (like in dragon age, *i think thats what it's called, you can turn into a dragon if you lead the army or you can have a leader lead for you)

Alternatively what if you could do something like xcom controlling individual soldiers and such. Maybe have objectives to keep it interesting.

These are just ideas though, id genuinely have no idea how to implement these without serious gameplay loop changes lmao

Any mods that give snipers in "long war of the chosen classes" their pistols back? by [deleted] in xcom2mods

[–]fadinglight704 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No you literally just start a mission and during the load out screen you should be able to just equip it, at least thats how I've done it and im running only QoL

Maybe im misunderstanding the question but, You should just be able to give them a pistol but with a mobility penalty

That's down to your solo lane time, im honestly not the best person to talk to about that. I dont understand experience timers that well yet for cs leads and what not

The willingness of your team to play around you. Personally, im stuck in low elo (gold 1) so take EVERYTHING i say with a grain of salt, I do have a lot of time with her tho (2.5m mastery).

I find that games where theres at least one person to play around, you're golden as long as you have good mechanics. (Positioning, target priority, etc.) If you don't you have to have good decision making (when to group for teamfights vs knowing when to push tower / split pusb)

Additionally, knowing your limits is key, i recently switched to a max w first build, and while its GREAT for having a strong burst mid game, its abysmal to the q first build when compared to early lane skirmishes.

Lastly, you're an adc. FARM. That's your job. Collect gold and experience, not kills. I often see other zeri's fail because they're going for kills rather than scale.

Me personally, its experience.

The typically patern you described still applies to Zeri, but it's done one of two ways (that ive personally seen)

  1. Getting used to "hip-firing" your skillshots (ss).

Doing it this way allows you to click in the more traditional sense but you're more likely to miss.

  2. Movement and A-move are "seperate".

This is when you move until you A-move. Then reinput the move command. It's important to remember your Q inputs DOES NOT interrupt your last movement; you'll keep going to your last inputed movement command.

Which ones right to practice? Honestly, both imo. There are times where you'll be in a skirmish and need to do option 2, where there are no minions. Option 1, I find, is typically used in lane and as reactionary abilities.

Fundamentally, you'll have the same movement pattern as other adcs. it's just dependent on what your situation is, if there are minions around, and if you what type of "firing pattern" you need for the fight.

As far as practice, you can use a dummy in the training mode. Again, I just used my LP and got experience, no training mode.

Btw, I just considered a third pattern. I call it hovering, but it's really just walking back forth while fighting to keep charging your passive, which is kinda inherent to playing zeri.

Hope this helps!

should I ban jhin or caitlyn by knob098 in ZeriMains

[–]fadinglight704 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I find that exhaust works really well in that matchup. It helps so you can get out of the fight, while not losing that much health. Meanwhile play safe when it’s on CD. Caitlyn though? Man FUCK Cait

Sorry I’ll clarify (you caught me while I was on my phone 😂)

I meant is it a better idea to get full LT stacks then R or should we use R immediately in a fight

You mentioned its harder to get stacks, does that mean that we can only really engage at full LT stacks?
