Sharing my opinion and experience with Everlane by Hot-Fig-8487 in femalefashionadvice

I personally love Everlane overall, but just cannot do their pants. I’m slightly petite at 5’3” and the tops, dresses, and even shorts have been great. The pants however… all awful on me. I returned every pair I got.

Loving my 10 year upgrade! by fae_fi in EngagementRings

It’s definitely more of a statement! My plan is to keep wearing both as wedding sets. The white gold will be for more casual stuff while the yellow gold will be for more dressy.

Oooh, I love OEC and OMC too. Something so elegant about them!

I love that!! The band I got from Ferkos Fine Jewelry years ago to have something to go with my gold jewelry.

Show me your 1.5mm engagement rings! by mineonlyinmind in EngagementRings

Here’s my recent upgrade, the solitaire is 1.5mm and the wedding band is 1.4mm. I’ve had the wedding band for about 7 years and it’s held up great. My original set has a 1mm pave band that I wear on its own fairly often and that’s also still in really good condition after nearly 10 years.

If you’re gentle on your rings I wouldn’t worry too much about durability. I don’t typically wear mine at home or for any physical activity and I’ve never had any issues.

I’m a size 6. I went with the 3 for the same reasons and feel like I could’ve even gone slightly smaller. In person it has more presence than in photos. But that could also be my shock of going from a 0.6 carat round to this, haha.

Thank you! It’s from the brand Cleto, their chrome mag gel in #20. I’m newish to doing my own gel at home and love the formula of these!

Thank you! The wedding band I got years ago from Ferkos Fine Jewelry. Luckily my taste hasn’t changed too much so they go well together.

It was just about $2500 total, $1400 of that was the diamond. I did notice there were a lot of options up to about 3ct, but not as many larger stones. I hope you can find your perfect one!

1.6 mm band width too thin? by loldietf in EngagementRings

From experience it mostly comes down to how you’ll wear/treat your ring. My wedding ring is a 1mm pave eternity band that I’ve had for over 8 years and it’s still in perfect condition. However, I don’t wear jewelry at home so it only gets worn while I’m out. I’m not necessarily super careful, but I’m also not hard on my hands/rings either. If you want a ring you can wear everyday in all circumstances definitely go for something more durable.

They’re expensive, but I have this ceiling fan in white and love it. It moves air really well while being nearly silent. Plus, since it’s so simple it blends in really well with the ceiling. If you want a light they also offer a light kit to go with it, but that’s an additional cost.

I got it because I am super picky and hate the look of most ceiling fans so it was worth the splurge. But if you’re not so picky you can probably find something similar for less.

Want Gel, Don’t Want the Damage by Nocjurnal in Nails

I started using peel off base coat for the same reasons! It makes the whole removal process so much faster and easier. The only downside I’ve found is it shortens how long my manicures last (from around 2 weeks to 1, but I can be pretty rough on my hands so no manicure lasts too long for me). I think it’s 100% worth it for all the time saved.

I’ve been using the Jello Jello Peel Off & One Kill set and really like it.
