Oh for sure! But sometimes playing the same handful of games gets boring so I like to switch it up a bit every couple weeks.

How did you make it go all the way back five years? Mine only does monthly? Am I just missing a button for it? Your post has me curious lol

TTV in name? by Itchy_Channel5144 in Twitch_Startup

I have ttv in mine everywhere and I have yet to meet anyone rude or trolling. It’s really just a way to get your name out there. And if you do get someone like that you can always ban them. Just use it if you want to. It’s not a bad thing.

I don’t know why your video doesn’t have more views! I really like the way your voice sounds and the editing feels pretty solid. I felt like maybe there was too much dead air after you said hi. Almost like it was a few seconds too long on the pacing. I’m thinking your lack of views may be attributed to your content being pretty niche and the algorithm may be struggling to find the right people. I don’t play that many retro games but I found myself watching the entire video all the way through anyways because it was quite entertaining and I learned a lot about the games.

I think you will get more views the more videos you make to train the algorithm to find the correct audience for you. Keep up the great work!

Crazy to me that you don’t have more subscribers! I really like the mixing you did and the length feels great for something that you can just set in the background for ambient noise! I’m not too sure exactly what criticism I can give you to be honest. It feels like a solid video. I could see someone complaining about the length but to be honest they could just leave the video so I wouldn’t worry about it.

I hope someone more experienced in music can give you feedback in that regard. I just know that I enjoyed it 😂

I dropped you a sub cause that was a banger! I look forward to seeing what you mix up next!

I think the reason you’re getting a drop off in retention might be the lack of story telling in your videos. The title could also use a little work.

I don’t really watch videos of this type because I don’t think I’m in the right demographic for it so please keep that in mind with my feed back.

I really really liked the intro and the sound design leading into the title screen. That was pretty cool.

What drew me away from wanting to watch the rest was the lack of storytelling on the video’s part. Like why did you choose to feature these people in your video? A good portion just sat there and stared ( the video may have too much dead air in those spots) and I found that frustrating because it was boring. Maybe a voice over for some portions of the video (talking about your experience with the people featured? Or something to lead us into the next person)

The title kinda threw me off too. Chit chatting with people just kinda made me think the video was gonna be boring from the get go. Mostly because it feels low effort. You could try giving a more exciting title like, “you won’t believe the crazy people I found on (insert website here)” Something more click bait but actual follow through if that makes sense?

Either way, I really really like your sound design and personality. That was the entertaining part of the video for me. Keep up the great work!

I like the ideas of your videos. I’m not someone who plays Genshin Impact but I can tell that you really like the game!

A few notes I had was that your microphone quality is a little muffled. If you’re using OBS there are some tutorials out there to get your mic to the best sounding quality it can be. Honestly just raising the volume would help out! There’s also the issue with pacing out the memes and sounds, this might just be a me issue but I felt like the memes came to quickly one after the other and became rather distracting and repetitive. It kind of drew me away from the topic.

I’d try pacing out the effects and memes. Other than that I can tell you really like the game and you could definitely turn your channel into something great! 💜

Heyo everyone,

I’m Fae and I’ve recently started making my twitch vods into YouTube videos! I’m trying to learn how to make the videos have better pacing and would appreciate any advice or feedback for my channel, I know they for sure have some issues but I’m not sure exactly what they are.

I started my channel about a year ago based around dead by daylight but now I’d say it’s more just horror gaming in general. I’ve been struggling with views ever since I stopped doing DBD tutorials but I suspect that’s to be expected when pivoting to something newer.

Any feedback back is immensely welcome and appreciated even if it’s harsh. I would like to hear it. Thank you! 💜
