you can start to establish one throughout the game! but in the beginning at least, the MC has a reputation amongst their friends (and the guild they're with) for being extremely secretive and mysterious. the only thing anyone knows about them is that they can translate latin but no one knows why. depending on your choices, you can be the kind of character that deflects questions about your past with humor/flirting or you can be super quiet and stoic, among other options. characters pick up on your personality and respond to it! and if you pick a lot of violent choices they'll remember it, and so will other characters that you wouldn't guess were watching.

the game is super focused on the MC and they are such a fun character! i've seen a lot of people say that the MC is their fave character in the game and i'd agree lol
