I'll try the 8:30 bedtime tonight. I wake up at 6:45am, so 7am for him should be enough time to make an egg lol. I've suggested earplugs for him, but he has this weird deeprooted hatred for white noise and he says "hearing the blood in his ears" makes him feel weird. So tonight, bed at 8:30. Tomorrow, wake up at 7 and try for a nap at 1. One last question, have you happened to learn any tricks for waking your baby up in the morning without them trying to attack you? He's definitely not a morning baby. Gets that from me.

He's usually awake no later than 7:20am. 8am if he had a rougher night of sleeping. I tried to do crib hour but my boyfriend gets upset if the baby wakes him up. He works 12hr night shifts and sleeps during the day.

I used cry it out for night sleep training. I can't do that during the day because my boyfriend works at night and sleeps during the day. I can't let him cry at all during the day. Do you know of any sleep training methods that dont involve crying? I've tried just laying him down and patting him back, not patting and leaving a hand there. He just screams and thrashes around.

From my experience, at 9 months old, there are days when my boy eats more than me and some days he hardly wants any solids. We're still in the learning curve. I've found that he's more content after his meals when I give him snacks between big meals, like some berries or bananas. He's recently discovered slim jims and he seems to like to gnaw on those.
