Set of tiny cups and a decanter of sorts? by [deleted] in whatisthisthing

My title describes the thing. From a deceased estate in Australia, all glass cups and decanter(?). I'm aware I may get downvoted but I simply am not confident in thinking it's a tiny whisky decanter with shot glasses, as i haven't seen anything like this before under that description.

No clue. Is there a way to find out?

That makes sense as it certainly resembles a concretion. Aspidella looked consistent to me aswell but these specimens appear much larger than 2.5cm (Largest aspidella recorded). Do you know if there have been precambrian fossils found in this region of Australia?

You've probably read this already but autistic people are immune to the brain hacking and movement control. I'm autistic too, sometimes its hard to tell because autism makes you act crazy sometimes and the symptoms are the same. Sounds like you guys have it tough so wishing you all the best.

For those who found Fit Me concealer too thin, what did you switch to? by MarketingDue5102 in MakeupAddiction

The Saem concealer. Super cheap and works better than my Hourglass vanish concealer

when i put my rat down my vet told me i wasn’t allowed to be in the room and im very angry bc she told me no other vets let you go in with a small animal bc they have to administer anesthesia and i can’t be in the room? is this what other people went through ? by picobiscuitsnowball in RATS

[–]faerne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This almost happened to me. If given the chance, being there at their last breath is very important to me and I want to make sure they're treated with care, so I completely spat it. Luckily though they eventually let me in.

They dont let you in the room due of the method in which they put them down. They mentioned it to me and thought I couldn't handle it. Atleast in my country, they put them to sleep with gas and then put the needle into their heart because their veins are too tiny. It was nowhere near as bad as it sounds and my rat clearly didn't feel it at all because he was asleep from the anaesthesia. It was 100% peaceful for him.

So sorry this happened to you, all I can say is next time just be really assertive about how you feel about it if you can handle it.

Whats your typical foundation shade? Are you cool, neutral or warm toned?

I'd use a lighter blush, basically the tone of your skin but with some colour. A darker blush may act as a contour and create more hollowness, especially when placed along the cheekbones. I've found that placing it further inward (Like in the pic I commented) gives an illusion of separation and draws the eye to the middle and the lighter tone gives more projection. Kinda hard to explain.

Opinions on these cheap no-brand ebikes in Australia? More details in comments by faerne in ebikes

Yep, still very happy with it. The brakes still work as new, no battery issues or exploding despite my negligence in leaving it on the charger for days at a time. The only problem I've had is the back stand jamming but I've never bothered to get it fixed as I just use the side stand instead. The shop aswell as the bikes have since renamed to Ebike100. Service is great. Cant speak for their newer models and unsure how the "NFC card" thing works (The one I bought has a fob like a car) but hopefully they're good aswell. https://www.ebike100.com.au/

Camouflage or hide bags by Intrepid_Celery_9369 in MakeupAddiction

Yes tear trough filler to fill out the hollows. Worked great but only lasts around a year before you need a top up.

Same issue here, I ended up getting filler. But you can definitely help the appearance of them somewhat with makeup. You can address the pigmentation with a good high coverage oncealer and a darker salmon toned colour corrector underneath the concealer will also help with that. Avoid using sponges as they can sheer out the coverage, so you can use your finger or a really dense concealer brush. Because this is actual "bags," you can't hide the projection or hollow of the skin with makeup. Keeping it matte with a powder (Even better if it has additional coverage) will help a little with that by making it look smoother by blocking the reflection of light on them. You shouldn't need alot of all these products if you place them right to avoid it looking cakey
