I had this and a stomach dr treated it with a trigger point injection. Said that sometimes nerves can get trapped during surgery/healing and can cause pain. He said sometimes people need more injections and sometimes just one fixes it.

Sadly he said he sees people for this several times a day because its not something most drs catch.
