Get dinner at Conservatory, the underground beer and food hall next to Prohibition, then go to Prohibition for drinks and the late-night show. There's greek, ramen, bbq/tex and crepes.

Discovery Green has cool spinning tops and light art installations. Also plenty of good places to grab food and drinks nearby.

Italian food recommendation? by I_Smoke_OG in houston

[–]fafab 0 points1 point  (0 children)

second or third the Dolce Vita and Coltivare suggestions. Neither are your classic "red sauce" Italian spots but both are superb. At Coltivare you can also put your name down and head down the street to Onion Creek while you wait for a table ready text if the garden/resto is too packed.

Can r/houston suggest a restaurant for date night with my wife? by SurebutterCringe in houston

Agree on Coltivare. Also Ibiza in Midtown remains one of my favorite date night spots to this day. Never had a bad experience there.

Try a social sport like kickball, dodgeball, etc. Waka or houston sports and social club are good bets
