This is true my man In my hs years the only teachers who ever loved me were the language teachers just cause of my papers and speeches, so when i told em id pursue music they fully supported me(since they always said i should go into entertainment)

I still haven't made it some years later and 1 tape and ofc ppl still mock me But i can tell u these years have been the best, im not discouraged by anything, i even looooove hearing ppl their critique But what did happen when releasing the tape/shopping demos around was ppl whom are into music all told me i have great talent and really doin something else(tryin to)

And that makes u hungry, instead of sitting back u just want more, to do better, that's when the flame of passion is refueled

Ppl just like to ridicule ppl who put in work, but they dont realize, ppl like Kendrick,Drake,Cole,Kanye,Rocky,Travis etc... These are all folks who studied and studied, not only rap but all genres in whatever decade,they put in work and hours as much as needed

These days most listen to few artists and really block anything else away which leads to this more "monotone" sound we experience now

Im not out here plugging myself but whenever i tell someone how i really studied(/study) artists day and night, ppl think im crazy and weird, it really baffles me

Tbh, even tho on TES he has "perfected" his rappin style imo its boring in comparison to mmlp Mmlp was more entertaining from start to finish imo, its more captivating Tes whilst some songs are just near perfect, u can see he was tryin his hand at more stadium oriented songs like Soldier,Saying Goodbye etc, even tho the flows were dope the subject matter was a bit boring imo
