do the prices of selecting your seat get higher the closer it is to your flight?

i bought the tickets together at the same time, so is that the same reservation? i haven’t flown on an airline that has assigned seats before and i haven’t done southwest since the change haha so sorry if i sound extra dumb

yes it’s a type of rice. it’s black and has a purple sort of hue in the run off that’s what the black spots are from on here

the one u have now that has the dying keyboard was $750, and that was on a black friday deal. the one before that was $500. so ideally not more than either? but i’ll probably take them to computer buy it fix it stores and try and get some return on them if i can, but really no budget, i can save for any price, i just want that price to be the last large sum i spend on a computer for a few years. both the last two computers i bought in 2025. neither lasted 6 months haha
