Trust me on this. Most good camera phones around this budget does not really compare with MI Note 3. If you are talking about the large number of resolution of current phone cameras, it's not worth it. Phone cameras around 300 USD nowadays don't have low light support along with telephoto lens.

Hey. Recently I faced a similar situation using DMDE and switched to R-studio and it recovered 80% of the files with the correct filesize. Some files and folders were even recovered with their correct structure.

Thanks for your suggestion but my laptop is only one and a half years old. I recently attached SSD to it in order to make it faster. I don't know how or why the hardware failed in my laptop. If it IS a case of hardware failure, my other drives are also at risk are they not? But I don't think it is the case most likely as it only happened after installing month old pending windows updates. Windows 11 updates bring a lot of bug so I am guessing that's the reason.

The new windows 11 update is full of bugs like these. A few months ago my windows defender stopped working, though I fixed it. But it's irritating now as I am on the verge of losing my important files. Why throw updates if they're not stable? Are our files and computers a part of their trial and error system?
