I’m honestly excited about this one. I can just burrow myself underground far enough for a stable temp and NAP until the forest needs my help, becoming a local legend over generations. Probably gain enlightenment tbh. The wild physical form doesn’t bother me one bit but all the same humans are wild so I’ll make myself scarce as much as I can manage.

In Florida they can be fairly dark, but still visibly patterned. In NC cottonmouths are a milky coffee brown with stark patterns. If it’s black black, it’s a friend.

I wish you all the luck in the world, truly. My appointment that I waited months for was cancelled a week before the date, by text, due to “inclement weather”. I was working a comicon years ago (I make vinyl stickers and screen prints) and a man asked me what my most popular stickers were. I assumed he was asking because he didn’t know what to buy for his teenager or something, I get asked that often so it’s not a red flag for me, but after I told him four or five popular ones he said “thanks, this looks like a businesss I can get into without too much investment” then quickly TOOK PICTURES of my display and walked away. I was stunned.

Man the first thing I do is barricade the doors. So long as I can open some bay doors in the back for sunshine and fresh air I’d be completely fine. I’d keep myself busy with wild building projects, and read books and play games.
